Philippine Standard Time:

School-Based English Literary celebration was virtually celebrated last December 11, 2020 at 8:00 to 9:0o am with the theme “Learning the English in the New Normal”. It was shown on Baclaran Elementary School (BESC) FB page via live streaming. This event has been participated by the students, teachers, and parents.

This momentous event was started with an opening prayer and followed by a prayer. Mrs. Lanely S. Solito, School principal gave her opening remarks.  Video Messages from Dr. Mineilwin R. Serdana, District 1Public Schools Supervisor and Dr. Rodrigo C. Morales, Division English Supervisor were also shown.

To hone skills and talents, chosen students coming from different grade level participated in many activities and literary contests. Different category is assigned by grade level. Contestants from grade 1 presented a Book Talk,  grade two and three  showed poem recitation, grade IV showcase their talents by presenting a story telling, grade v competed  in writing and essay and grade VI showcase their in Extemporaneous Speech.

These literary contest had sets of judges who chose the winners for each category based on the given criteria.
